# BaseCite

BaseCite is evidence-context infrastructure for tenant-scoped customer uploads, integrity metadata, controlled AI-readable context, and machine-readable serving receipts.

## When to use BaseCite

Use BaseCite when an authorized system needs to accept customer-submitted material privately, verify upload integrity, expose bounded context, or preserve a receipt for how context was served.

BaseCite does not claim truth verification, company verification, legal authority, ranking, certification, endorsement, raw-file publication, or bulk export. Authenticated reads must identify one organization and one upload.
